Private Tuition
7+, 8+ and 9+
Our specialist KS1and KS2 tutors have extensive experience preparing students to sit these exams and thoroughly understand what it takes to receive offers from London’s most academically selective schools.
We will be teaching your child brand new skills, like exam technique alongside advanced numeracy and literacy skills, whilst maintaining a creative and fun environment to ensure your child thrives.
It’s fundamental to begin this process early. Building and refining the skills needed for 7+, 8+ and 9+ across Maths, English and Reasoning takes time. Our tutors will carry out a thorough academic assessment to identify areas to improve and design a detailed long-term plan moving forward.
11+ and Common Entrance
The 11+ and Common Entrance examinations are used by all independent and grammar schools for their Year 7 intake. If successful in these examinations, students are invited back for a formal interview where the school assesses the student and decides if they are the right fit.
The 11+ examination varies in difficulty from school to school. With years of experience preparing students for independent and grammar schools in London and across the country, we are equipped to streamline the process and ensure successful admission for our students.

Interviews
Upon successful completion of the entrance examinations, students are invited for an interview. Schools use this interview to understand if the student and school are a good match and to discuss their passions, interests and reasons for wanting to attend their school. Whilst it can be daunting, schools use this interview to get to know their future pupil and will put the student at ease. Our tutors have prepared students for interviews at the some of the countries most prestigious of institutions meaning that our process has been refined for success.
“Olivia and her team streamlined a very stressful 11+ experience and made it super easy. We placed our trust in her and it paid off. Our daughter received offers from all nine of the schools we applied too. We couldn’t have done it without Olivia!”

GCSE Examinations
Students in England, and those at certain international schools sit GCSE or equivalent examinations in Year 11 to signpost the end of their secondary school education. Schools often begin content in Year 9, meaning students have two or three years of GCSE preparation. These examinations will allow students to progress onto their chosen A Levels, IB pathway, college or apprenticeships. They are intensive examinations with students often sitting around ten or eleven GCSEs at the end of Year 11. We currently tutor English and Maths, their core subjects required by most jobs, colleges and universities.
